What are our Political Pamphlets?
One of the biggest issues with the political system in America right now is the division created between the Democratic and Republican parties. This divide has a massive impact on the voter mindset. Those who are Republicans tend to unconditionally vote for the Republican candidate and assume that the Democratic candidate has worse policies. This also happens on the Democratic side in which the Republican candidate is chalked away as being an inferior candidate. At the New York Unity Project, we recognize this issue, and so we are creating individualized, in-depth political pamphlets that can be viewed for each of the major races on each election day, and leading up to it. The goal of these pamphlets is to provide voters a resource where they can clearly see what is on each side of the ballot, and make a personal judgement that is not based off of their parties bias. We purposely don’t include which party each candidate belongs to, so that viewers can look at these handouts from a neutral perspective.
